Building A Prosperous Future With LOBO At Heatric

A leading design and manufacturing company whose customers include Shell, BP and Chevron Texaco is praising the flexibility of the world’s most successful modular access system, LOBO. Heatric, part of Aerospace, Defence and Energy Group Meggitt, designs and manufactures highly compact printed circuit heat exchanges (PCHEs) used mainly for gas compression cooling in upstream hydrocarbon processing.

“We required a product that would enable us to work at height, that was flexible to our needs and most importantly safe,” said Heatric manufacturing engineer, Richard Gray.

“We took time evaluating the right product for our use in building, testing and finishing our PCHEs and considered products such as gap access towers, stages, platforms and trestle systems.

The LOBO was perfect in meeting our needs and we purchased three systems complete with storage containers. Storage of the LOBO Systems is much better than any other products we have used previously.

” The LOBO System is the easiest to use and most versatile work platform scaffold system, which assembles without the need for any tools. It can be configured to meet any access application and its unique patented clamp provides a safe and secure working facility up to a maximum height of 10 metres.

Personnel can reconfigure the system, adapting it from one project to another, with ease.

“The product is a positive alternative to scaffolding, due to its considerable cost and lead time savings, and certainly with our larger vessels we have experienced those cost and time benefits, as we are not relying on third party scaffold companies,” said Richard. LOBO combines the versatility and strength of traditional scaffolding and because LOBO can be assembled by anyone quickly and safely labour costs to be controlled and reduced.
